The Mind-Sync project builds on the Monroe Institute’s decades of experience in research and collaboration with universities, hospitals, research institutes and professionals internationally. The efficacy of its Hemi-Sync® technology, has been proven as a psycho-pedagogical support and as a method to promote the emergence of man’s mental faculties, which are functional for his psycho-physical well-being, cognitive enhancement and improvement of his quality of life. The use of Hemi Sync sounds to promote learning and attention in children and young people has been widespread and widely documented for years in America, where the Monroe Institute has been working since 1974.
Mind Sync was initially implemented in 2016 as a study project together with the University of Padua, Department of Learning Psychology. This study confirmed that through listening to specifically selected pieces of music supplemented with Hemi-Sync sounds, diverse groups of children and young people even with certified learning disorders achieved improvements in learning, memory, focused attention, and creative flows. In addition, positive effects have also been documented on self-esteem and expressive possibilities, improvements in children/students’ attitudes toward school and study, reducing anxiety, low mood and relationship difficulties.
From this experience was born the Mind-Sync at School project having as its main goal the harmonious development of personality and cognitive skills of school-age children. It is aimed at elementary school children and high school children, under the careful supervision of parents and teachers.
MIND SYNC MAIN GOALS
The Mind-Sync project was born with these main goals in mind:
- To pursue the harmonious development of personality and cognitive skills of school-age children and young people
- Produce positive learning effects in students, including those with learning disorders (ADD, ADHD, hyperactivity, inattention) through listening to Hemi-Sync sounds (music).
MIND SYNC AT SCHOOL: PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The Mind Sync project finds its natural application in schools of all levels, with the aim of fostering the harmonious development of personality and cognitive skills. More specifically he means:
- Introduce and use Hemi-Sync sounds to facilitate learning and teaching processes in the school
- To stimulate the harmonious development of the brain hemispheres, personality and activation of talents in children/students
- Create more effective and stimulating classroom conditions for teachers and students
- Engage parents in active participation and effective parent-child communication
